Adam Levin
University of the WitwatersrandAdam Levin is a postdoctoral research fellow in the School of Literature, Language and Media at the University of the Witwatersrand. His research is focused on how the field of trauma and memory studies can be utilized in practical contexts. His work has been featured in publications such as Holocaust Studies: A Journal of Culture and History, English Studies in Africa, The Journal of Commonwealth Literature and Safundi. His article from English Studies in Africa was reproduced in the essay collection Cultures of Populism: Institutions, Practices and Resistance (Routledge, 2022). He also serves on the executive board of the International Network of Genocide Scholars (INoGS). He will share the course-lead duties with his mentor, Professor Emeritus Merle Williams who is also based at the University of the Witwatersrand.
